Hot Cocoa Ice Cream

We believe it's safe to say that hot cocoa is one of your favorite treats during the holiday season. That said, we decided to experiment with hot cocoa and turn it into something a little bit more. We decided to make hot cocoa ice cream littered with marshmallows. This is a brilliant way to enjoy hot cocoa all winter long and beyond!

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 c. heavy cream
  • 1 14-oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ cup to ½ cup of Spice Merchant’s hot cocoa (we recommend Almond Caramel)
  • 1 c. mini marshmallows, plus more for garnish

DIRECTIONS

  1. Beat heavy cream until it begins to thicken
  2. Mix condensed milk, Spice Merchant’s Hot Cocoa and mini marshmallows
  3. Transfer ingredients into a 9 x 5” loaf pan. Smooth the top with a spatula and top the mixture with additional marshmallows.
  4. Freeze until firm, 5-6 hours.
  5. When ready to enjoy, let sit for 10 minutes to soften before serving
